spektrum glitch

hi there all got a question reguarding spektrum receivers glitching. i have a m8 with the spektrum mod done and 3 sr3000 standard receivers and if i'm right on top of the car or with 1-2 feet of the receiver it glitches. if i step back a foot or 2 it works fine is this common among the original spektrum receivers or is there something wrong. i can remember back when i bought some couple years ago if i can remember it did the same thing then too. any help would be great thnx will g

Heres why, think of the antena as an axis, then think of a really wide ice cream cone upside down on the antena. This cone is where the signal comes out, it goes up and out, if the remote it won't reach it because the signal doesn't come down and out, when you step back the out signal reaches the receiver. Hope this helps, Plus you never drive the car directly under the remote.
