Does the motor you changed to have capacitors on it?

Does it make any difference if you drive at partial throttle? What condition are your batteries in? Motor? What vehicle and gearing?

Could be the change in motor and gearing is drawing too much current for your batteries.

Pop the Rx case open and check the solder connection for the antenna. Also make sure your crystals are all the way in, in the Tx and Rx. Did your Rx get wet the last time you ran it, even a LITTLE wet? I hope we can get this all straightened out for you

I would try the process of elimination. Try putting the old motor back in your car. If the problem goes away, then start looking for issues with the Peak motor.

Scott is right ON! I would absolutely switch back to my old setup.

ok heres the thing. i changed the motor and ran the car for three batteries on that motor, then i changed the gears to 61 spur and 21 pinion, thats when it started doing this... Also i can turn both the rx and tx on and walk away with tx in hand when i get about 10 feet away it starts beeping and i get no response to trottle or steering. i think the receiver has had it... whats a good receiver for the jr radio xr3i. i plan on going brushless in the future.. thanks guys for all the help with this problem..
