hey guys just wondering what 17.5 you run ive been looking at either the hacker or trinity what do you think? and if they are any good?

I run a Hacker 17.5 in my rubber tire sedan and a Novak 17.5 in the XXXT. i have noticed that the gearing is different with all manufacturers but once you get used to it and temp the motors after track layout changes you can dial the right gearing in quickly.

I have had no problems with either motor and the Hacker stays right there with all the Novak 17.5's in onroad.

i recomend trinity,i used the novak but in my opinion the trinity is faster!!

I have a Trinity. It is my first stock brushless motor, so I don't have anything to compare. That said, it is awesome. I have it geared to the moon and it still runs cool.

I have tried novak, lrp,speed passion,full throttle(trinity duo). Out of the four I still go back to my novak for off road and my full throttle (trinity duo) for 1/12.

your best bet is the new trinity pulse motor, new orion motor or lrp motor. i like what i hear from trinity's though.
im using the speed passion one and it is too soft on acceleration.
