VENOM SPEED METER QUESTION

ARE THE VENOM METERS ACCURATE? DOES THIS DRAIN BATTERY VOLTAGE FASTER? ARE THEY EASY TO INSTALL? ARE THEY USEFUL?

THANKS FOR RESPONSES.

Meter uses a counter arrangement mounted somewhere in or on the drive train (a trigger and a detector) to calculate a speed. So with any wheelspin, the speed and distance is incorrect. Besides wheelspin, if its setup correctly, it can be accurate.

GPS is better, and prob more accurate., but more expensiove.

I have not noticed a decrease run time off the reciever battery with mine. They are fairly accurate just make sure you set it up correctly.

If you can borrow a GPS, you might be able to test the accuracy of the meter....I got one in a box somewhere still from my Nitro days....
