GTB Fast idle??

I just wired up a new GTB lipo spread spektrum to a novak 13.5. With the radio settings zeroed out, the motor idles forward pretty fast. I had to go into subtrim and go to 100% BRAKE and it still idled slowly. I then had to go to the normal throttle trim and move to about 30 % BRAKE to get the motor to stop. I don't mid a little creap, but this was a bit excessive :ha:

Anyone seen that before? It shouldn't be an issue since I was able to adjust it to neutral, but I reset the speedo profile and the radio profile and just wondered if there is something else I could do to get it to neutral with the subtrim and trim closer to zero. Thanks,

Try set it up not using the "One Touch Setup Button"

I'm not sure what you mean
I made sure it was set to the default profile number "1". I can adjust min and drag brake, dead spot, etc. But I don't know any other way to adjust the trottle trim other than on the radio. If you have a minute, tell me more about my other options. Thanks

it's in the gtb instructions. www.teamnovak.com

in summary.

set throttle trim to neutral on your remote. Set throttle epa/atv to full. 100%
Turn radio on.
hold the set button down with the esc off and a battery plugged in.
While holding set button turn esc on
continue holding set button.
until the led's change state (don't know exactly what color but I think solid red)
hold throttle all the way open hold until leds change state (I think green now)
Then push to full brake (Led starts flashing green)
then let it sit there and do it's cycling thing (a few seconds)
then test it. :tire:

Thanks Mini - I feel like an idiot. I have done that many, many times with the GTX, GTS and other brushed Novak speedos. I was thinking these BL speedos were so different that that process didn't enter my mind... Plus, I was really tired.
Thanks!
