yes i know it is a very old radio, but it was given to me by my uncle and i'm sort of having issues with it; when the throttle is put in neutral the car puts on its brakes and there's basically no delay for the reverse.. it just goes straight to reverse when i put it in brake position.. i'm running one of those automatically set AI esc's

did you put the dials to the default settings a reset up your esc ? You have to set-up the esc with the radio.
