Default Where do you buy your LiPos?

I am just looking for an idea of where you all buy your LiPos? Cuz, I'm looking for a good deal on a good LiPo....

I have heard that some of you buy from China, but I am nervous about getting a piece of junk battery.

I'm sorry if this is a "dead horse" thread.

Hobby City is hands down the best place to get your first lipos from. Just plan ahead and be prepared to wait 2 weeks for shipping. Dont pay the expedited charge, just wait.

My local shop. Support your local shop or they won't be around when you need them.

Are shop carries Max Amps, Trakpower and a few others. The shop prices are excellent so I always buy from them.

SpeedtechRC is on my way home from work (that's really bad for me, esp. on paydays, but good for Jeff the owner).

He stocks the latest lipo technology and will order anything that he doesnt have upon request (its hard keeping up with all the new stuff coming out). Great owner keeping up the great tradition of the Speedtech name providing products to us racers.

I'm an Orion guy and my LHS carries Maxamps for the most part.(Maxamps is based here in my town) I know carolinasrc.com has pretty good prices and a large selection on Lipo's as well as amainhobbies.com.

Hobby city has some great lipos, I have a few different versions of the zippy packs and have had great luck with them.

They also have great deals on other things, brushless motors, ESCs, servos and who can top 10 pairs of deans plugs for $6.55

Well, actually I will buy from them...there was a major mix up and I may have jumped the gun in my opinions.
