Is "Traction Control" on 3PK and M11 effective?

Have you found that the "Traction Control" function on the 3PK and M11 to be effective for your car/driving?

I would think traction control would kind of like a throttle profile on my novak gtx esc. There is profiles 1-6, 1 being the most aggressive and 6 being the leat. Kinda of like a slipper but there are alot of differences. I think it would be effective I just wouldnt touch it because my esc already has stuff like that.

"Traction Control" is the pulsing function when accelerating. Is is a separate function than "throttle profiles".

It is the pulsing functionality that I was curious about. Does it actually help to accelerate faster by preventing the tires from losing traction?

to me if you were to use it on a nitro car/buggy/truggy/truck. it would be over kill for the throttle servo. for electric i don't know if it would be effective.

Tire choice and trigger finger make for the best traction control.:D
I have the same opinion about it being hard on servos. I haven't tried using anything like that but I doubt it works as well as it sounds. If you run electrics I would say use the esc settings for better traction. I have always had good luck using them for better traction instead of radio settings.

Traction

From my experience I use traction control on my m11-adam drake 2.As well as expotential once you graduate the rate on your expotental give a little traction control. You need to experament a little and depending on the size of your track this can give you a bit of an advantage.I have mine setup so my powerband is great on takeoff and midrange after that the band is smoother to topend.Works for me, tight corners to top end straightaway.I race with some extremely fast 1/10 scale racers and this has helped to get me to a-mains.considering i have only been racing 2 years.
