servos: coreless vs brushless
hi,
what's the differences between those coreless and brushless servos? what're the pro and con between these two? :weird: |
well brushless is a little more expensive but you get 5x more servo life. dont forget the speeds. but what the track owner and lhs owner told me that the coreless motor servo would make it a little easier for me to drive because its not tooooo fast.

coreless and brushless are totally 2 different 'technology'? :weird: |
The JR 9000s and 9100s (0.06 sec) are listed as being faster than the brushless Futaba servos which I think is somewhere around 0.10, but I have heard the Futabas perform faster and better than their specs would indicate.

coreless runs cooler and will last longer

but if comparing to brushless? :weird: btw, futaba brushless servos start with BLSxxx |
Coreless is a brushed motor with a light weight rotor made of copper hold together by glue instead of Steel core.
