servo questions

How do I choose the right type of servos for either an on-road or off-road vehicle? What do the numbers about the speed and torque mean? What are the best speed and torque numbers to use on average, what is preffered? Thanks, :)

.06 (JR z9100s) is the fastest they make and i think 408oz. is the most torque out for servos. All depends on what you want do you want a really fast servo or do you need torque?;)

If you are looking for a good quality servo, Airtronics has several near the $100 mark... depending on what you need as the previous poster said.. they have one for you.

$100 sounds like a lot of money.. but they are metal geared, fast, lots of torque and will last you years.. I have had some of these servos for over 10 years! Still good and work today!

Even some of the $50 range servos from Hitec and JR are ok.. but in my experience the Airtronics gives you the best bang for the buck!
