spektrum, need help

So I got a new spektrum remote and I have never had one of these before so I am kinda lost. I got it all hooked up and got the E-revo moving just fine. My problem is I don't have the same speed I had before. When it was the stock remote with 2 charged batteries {venom 5000 6cell nimh} I was able to clear a jump at the local track no problem and sometimes over shoot the landing. Same batteries, same charge, different remote I barely make it. I tried reading the manual but I think I am over looking something. Please help!!

Did you reset the speed control after switching radios? The endpoints might be a little different between new and old radios. Does the speed control have any lights to indicate full speed that you can check? Probably either that or the motors are just getting wore out, need new brushes and a comm cut.

the truck is brand new and has maybe 1 1/2 hrs on it. I did reset the speed control also.

I did find if I pulled on the trigger and hit scoll it would change from R/B to L/F. Maybe that is it? It is at 100 and it can go to 125. Does that make sense?

ok i think i know your problem, its the EPA (end-point adjustment) change the throttle epa to 125 so that its at its max, it was the same with my elec, i had a nitro setting on it and then changed the epa and it hammers. otherwise it may be ur motor but i would highly doubt it.
