Electric motor sub trim?

Ok why is it that i have to set my SUB TRIM on my remote all the way up so my motor does not want to run? If i have it on o sub trim then the motor just runs what am i doing wrong? Hopefully someone knows.

If this helps i Run Novak Brushless motors and use DX3R remote. Thanks.

Did you recently switch to the DX3R radio? Every radio is a little different.

Suggest you turn the sub and regular trim to 0, then reset the speed control.

My brother uses the dx3r and novak brushless and just put it in his rb5 and it did the same thing. He had to rebind it and like mention reset the speedcontrol and it worked fine.

This should be standard procedure when switching radios. Spektrums in particular seem to have a different center point from the KO & Futaba stuff I have. Even if you don't have a trim issue you might not be getting full throttle or something else not quite right.

No issue though if you do the set up.
