cleaning a M11

Last weekend The track i was at was really dusty. So dusty that now when i turn the wheel on my m11 it has a grittyness to it. Has anyone ever clean one of these before. if so what do i have to do to get the dirt out?
Thanks

At that track, you have to get a dry clean paintbrush and dust the thing off. Then, compressed air. I don't remove the clear plastic membrain from the M11 screen. Plust I keep that dust cap on whenever racing there. I race both on and off road at BD. Sometimes I just get a damp towel and get the dust off. On a M11 you will never get everything clean!

yea i cleaned the outside but know when i move the wheel it has a very gritty feel to it. i have to take it apart to get the dirt out but i don't know where to start.

Take the center cap off the wheel then unscrew it. There should be a bearing there and spray that with an air compressor. Worked for me when mine was gritty.

That wheel can be a PITA to get off after you get the screw out. You have to pull pretty hard.
