Problem with spektrum in my M8
 

I bought a used airtonics m8 about a month ago and i purchased a used spektrum tx for it. I did the spektrum mod for it and until last week it worked great. Last week i took it apart and i am experiencing a problem where after about 15 Ft. it seems as if the car is out of range and the car stops and turns the front wheels. I thought maybe the problem could be with my spektrum Rx, but i binded it with another spektrum radio and it worked fine. So has anyone had this problem and can anyone help me out? Thanks

verify ur receiver is in good health. if its not, back to horizon it goes b/c of issues with the antenna and its pickup. been there it sux, i keep a spare spek tx on hand just in case. if that doesnt work i have my new m11 that i've never use b/c i like my '8 so much. good luck

How is the battery voltage in the TX?

If its oks, then it sounds like theres a prob with the TX module you have. I hate to say it but you might want to send it in for a quick checkup. either that or rebind and see if that helps, but you probably tried that already i would guess.

i have an m8 radio w/spektrum pro series tx module and rx,never experience any problems w/ that tx module and rx,also i'm using a micro rx sr3500,same..:tire::D

easy deal, i know its $, but pickup an emergency tx module off ebay. that way ur not SOL or lugging around a 2nd radio if u dont want to. not all of us can have a new m11 in the bag waitin for daylight.
