Can I use a 6.0v nitro receiver pack to see if that solves my glitching problem? I think I can wire it like an external bec, remove red wire from esc and then just plug the battery into the receiver. If that works then that should tell me if adding a bec would fix my problem right?

sorry, i am not familiar with nitro stuff.. try to find someone with bec you can borrow..

What is the difference between version 2.0 and 2.1? Is it worth upgrading?

I read somewhere that upgrading esc to turbo version is only for stock motors. I am running offroad 550 motors and 4 pole motors. Is there advantage for v3 for these motors?

No I got it for my 10.5 motor. It screams with the turbo and even if you disable turbo the timing adjustments are more from the older version.

i guess i'll just leave mine on older version since i don't even use a sensored motor now...so no timing needed.. and even with my old tekin 4.5 sensored, i barely ran timing, gets too hot..

Powered the servo and RX with a 5/cell nimh pack and it seems to work fine. Like I said earlier Im new to electric. Will a bec do the same thing as the RX pack did with less weight?

Yes sounds like a bec will fix your problem, I cant believe that some of these have a weak bec. Mine worked great with a 7995 ?.

One thing also...if your radio allows for travel/endpoint adjustment make sure and set it so servo is NOT pushing 100% right or left. Back it off 4 positions or so. this will help with current draw.

What receiver are you using?

A cap is just a battery so to speak. It keeps the receiver voltage from dropping below a certain point that causes the glitching/brownouts.

MMP and spektrum are the worst. I know guys running KO propo and MMP and have zero issues. Savox servos are also bad with spektrum. I understand this is a HW thing, but applies nonetheless.

120A v2.1 xerun For The Win !

I have this xerun 120A v2.1 with the latest stock software in my 2wd losi 22 1/10 buggy. I run it on 2s lipo with a speedpassion 10.5 turns ultra sportsman.

my buddy has a durango 4wd 1/10 buggy with a castle mamba max pro and a 6.5 turns motor.

on the straight away our topspeed is exactly the same, I can keep up with his 4wd buggy .

this is done on a hardpacked clay outdoor offroad track.

I just love this speedo.

I am having problems with program cards. When I plug it in, card turns on for split second and then off. Tried 2 different cards and both are doing this. So I thought it was lose wire, changed that out, put new plugs and still doing same thing. Everything works fine but cannot change settings on esc. Anyone have this issue. I have the 120a xerun. Do u think it's a bad bec that can cause this?
