BEC Upgrade, Anyone interested?

Hello to all. I am an electronics buff who likes to modify, well, electronics.

I recently purchased a Sidewinder ESC, and have been very pleased. It delivers more than enough power motor wise, but has one problem: My power hungry servo's were bieng starved by the Less-than-stellar BEC.:( The Sidewinder has a 1A 5V bec, not enough for my needs.

So, what have i decided to do? Beef it up!!! I have modified my Sidewinder ESC to have a 2 Amp BEC. Now my servo's have enough power, and dont suffer anymore. Theres plenty of power to pass around.

My question to YOU is, Would anyone be interested in a souped up BEC? :sneaky:

I can modify the Sidewinder obviously, and I believe I can modify others as well.

So, What do you think? Could you use some faster Servo's? Power some extra fans? Reduce glitching? For me it has been worth it, how about for you?

I may make a "BEC Beefing" service, but only if others would want it.

Cheers! :sneaky:

Interesting. How much do you think one of these things might cost? I run spektrum and different brushless motors, and my steering suffers (although that may be from old-ass servo) I get some glitching when I go behind this one tree on my track. I wonder if your Beefy Elimination Circuit would help.
