Charging AA Batteries

How are you guys charging single AA batteries for radios?

I hooked mine up with a battery holder to my MRC 960 charger to charge them, but I'm wondering if there is a better way? Should I just buy something like the La Crosse BC-900 charger and use it?

you can get 4aa 1C peak detection chargers for not much at all from radioshack I expect.

or, you could get a plug to fit in the back of your radio and hook it up to a 12v 300mah mains adaptor.

I used lots of stuff, a dedicated charger that came with a Futaba air radio, a cheap Rayovac AA only 4 individual cell peak detect charger that I bought with batts for our digital camera, and every kind of RC peak detector charger I own.

Which do I prefer? Whichever one is handiest when I need a charge is the first choice. But I do like the cheap individual cell charger to get them all equalized at charge, even if it only does 4 at a time. Never had a SpinTec Individual Cell Charger, this is my low budget imitation! But I don't really think it's that big of a deal either.

Cheers!

I take the battery pack out of the radio, set my novak millinium to 8 cells at 1 amp on the NIMH setting and let it peak. It works great.

I use a MAHA/Powerex MH-C9000 WizardOne Charger-Analyzer. It cycles AA and AAA batteries. Might be a bit of overkill, but I had it for my mini-z's so hey.
