BEST RADIO UNDER $400

I AM IN THE MARKET FOR A NEW RADIO. HAS TO BE SPEKTRUM OR SIMILAR SYSTEM. I AM NOT A PRO BUT AM GETTING BETTER SO I WANT A HIGH END RADIO TO KEEP THE NEEDS MET AS I GET BETTER. JUST LOOKING FOR PREFERENCE AND WHY YOU LIKE THEM. DECIDING BETWEEN 3PK DXR3 M11 OR KO PROPO HELLIOS. JUST LOOKING FOR MY BEST BANG FOR THE BUCK THANKS

There is honestly no discernable difference you'll notice between them. Get one you think is comfortable and race.

Futaba +1 great radios

go to your local hobby shop and hold each one, find the one that fits best in your hand. Performance wise they all do the same thing

m-11...some say it's a bit heavy, but, get a lipo battery and it's pretty light..

pick up whatever your LHS carries and stocks parts for. Personally I like the 3pk and M11.

HAD binding issues. It was on early transmitters and the problem has been fixed. New radios do not have this problem.

JeffEmbracedDC 05-29-2008 10:02 AM

Not to make this decision any more difficult, but the Nomadio React could be considered as well.

SND 05-29-2008 10:28 AM

WELL I HAD A SENSOR I SOLD GREAT RADIO JUST NOT CRAZY ABOUT NOMADIO LEANING WARDS THE 3PK OR DXR3. LIKE THE FUTABA NOT SURE ABOUT 2.4 FASST HEAT PROBLEMS THAT I READ ON THE 3PK FORUM. I NOW I HEARD THE SIMILAR PROBLEMS ON THE DX3R BUT THEY FIXED THOSE. SO THE CHOICE IS BETWEEN THEM SO LET ME NOW FROM SOME OTHERS EXPERIENCE THANKS

I've owned both, like both. I like the feel of the DX3R better.

Fondle both and buy the one you like.

Transmitter feels great and its very light weight.

Binding issue has been recognized and resolved. Only affected early releases. New transmitters going out shouldnt have any issues.
