Power Supply

Hey,
I need a power supply. I want one thats small and light. with a output of 10amps/12volts

What would u recommend???

Im in the same boat with you, I do like my buddies integy one, its the $65 one on their page, but then I found out about people using computer power supplies for RC use and am planning on trying that out since I have a spare lying around. heck 12v at 18amps is sweet

Muchmore has a really tiny one that does 7 amps/11.5-13 volts and then a bigger (still really small) one that does 24 amps/12-16volts.

Or the Ripmax ProPeak unit. 20 amps for $60, well at least Up Over here in the States it is. Not the absolute smallest, but fairly light. I got mine through my LHS, but Stormer has them too, not sure about Down Under distribution. It's a Brit company I believe.

Example of an old PC power supply modified for RC use.

15amp. About $5 in parts and an evening to build.
