need help with Hyperion balance adapter

I have a hyperion EOS0606i. I bought it because it has the balancer built into it. I bought a couple of TrakPower 4900 packs and am now stuck.

Do I need to fab up some sort of adapter so I can balance while charging these packs, or can an adapter be bought for this? If I need to build my own, are there instructions somewhere?

Any help would be much appreciated.

You might want to try maxamps live support. Go to Maxamps.com and click their live support and Jason may be able to help you out.

They had no help to offer as far as balancing the TrakPower packs. I should have expected it, They don't carry the batteries..........

They (MaxAmps) should be coming out with a ROAR approved pack in the next couple of weeks. I am interested.

Check out this thread at the bottom of the page. I made an adapter for my hyperion using a 6s pack side tap from maxamps and two 4mm bananna plugs and 1 2.5mm bananna plug, and some wire. It is really easy to make.

Thanks! I have ordered everything I need and am very confident now that I will be able to do this safely and pretty cheap too.

I just made this adapter yesterday and it works GREAT!! Now I don't have to buy an external balancer.
