Convert Hump Pack to Flat Pack

Anyone know how or if it's possible to convert a hump pack to a flat pack?

Don't see why not, the only thing under that shrink-wrap cover is a few battery cells and some bars. With a little creativity and a good hand for soldering it shouldn't be a big deal :)
