Brushless Help

Hi,
1.)Do sensored brushless motors still work without the sensor lead, or is it REALLY needed for the motor to run properly?

2.) Do Novak and LRP gear mix? I'm thinking of buying the 7.5L motor and running it with the LRP sphere comp. '07. Will i have any trouble if i do this eg. cogging, jittering etc.?

3.) Wat is a 9.5 equivalent to? I raced with one on friday, i was running an Orion 13x1 and the 9.5 was waaay faster?

Cheers,
Dan:)

1. Sensored motors will run on a sensorless ESC, but usually they run a little bit rough. Cogging at low speed.

2. The LRP and Novak stuff is all sensored. You can mix and match. The LRP ESC with Novak motors is a popular setup.

3. Not sure what a 9.5 compares too. My guess is around a 13T. He may have had better batteries than you or your Orion motor needs a comm turn and some brushes.
