Angry 3 time used LRP TC SPEC, just dies

Got a brand new TC SPEC from LRP to my FT T4 truck.. 1st time indoor it was working ACE..a few weeks later it begins to die (almost like failsafe or cutoff) but the fan still rotating, and sometime it stops..meaning no power or so..

havnt used the truck for a few month so it was a test day yesteday, and there it was again, only a 1/2 lap then it started... ive tried everythin, new cap,cap on Spectrum Rx (never ever had to use on my other cars, but i wanted to test it) i have solder a new Rx cable from ESC, new on/off button..still no good, can trottle a few tiimes full on ground, then it dies.. anyt tip what this can be?

i almost gave this ESC up, and a resend it to LRP is no option...

Myself and at least one other bloke at my local track also had problems. Apparently his ended up being a dodgy sensor harness from the motor -> ESC. As these speedies are sensor based they won't run without it. My car would go again if I gave it a push when it happened. I ended up just double checking the harness was plugged in properly then just used the plastic "tool" that comes with the ESC to push each individual pin in on motor and ESC. I use 7.5, 6.5 and 5.5 vectors depending on track and it seems to be fine now regardless of which sensor harness I use (they all have one )

Try checking that and see how it goes.

Cheers,
Clint.

Hmmm ok, I know this might sound silly but you haven't got LiPO cutoff enabled have you? Mode 1 make sure LED blinks twice for racing mode not once for auto.

Have you double checked all of the solder joints? I've seen this come up with every brand on these threads, seems to be the fix some times. For both suspected BL speedos and motors.

I got three spheres and they dont run without a sensor cable.

Did you connect it backwards to a battery ? That will instantly ruin one... even a spark.

Either way.... sounds like it's messed up if a new sensor cable won't work.
