Can a Novak GTB run a non-sensored motor?

I know that the GTB can run a non-sensored brushed motor, but can it run a non-sensored brushless motor?

No. Generally sensored speedies will only run sensored motors although the new Tekin may be the exception to this. You can sort of simulate a sensorless motor by disconnecting the sensor cable - you'll probably find it won't work as the speedy needs the siganl from the Hall sensors so it knows where the rotor is at any given point in time. I know my LRP doesn't work without the sensor cable when hooked up to a brushless motor.

As far as I know, no on the GTB, sensored only for brushless. But yes for the Speed Passion GT and the Traxxas Velineon, they do both.

how about running a sensored motor in an ESC like the Mamba Max? Anyone tried it?
