DX2.0 Glitch?
I picked up a Spektrum DX2.0 yesterday, and for the most part I love this thing.
There is one little issue that I'd like to try to resolve. When I turn the steering to the right, as it returns to center there's a little hesitation just before it centers. I thought it might be the servo, so I checked two others, and they both did the same thing. I also tried reversing the steering, so when I turned the wheel right, the wheel turned left, and in this case the hesitation was on the return from the left side. So, it's pretty much narrowed down to the transmitter end, right? Has anyone ever dealt with or heard of this problem before? Any fixes out there? Thanks, Jim |
Wow..i thought mine was the only one that did that!i had the standered race servo in my bk2 and it did the same thing your saying i thought it was the servo so i changed it to the high torqu one and i didnt have that problem anymore mabey its both of your servos?i still dont know what was causing it.

I was just messing around with it again, and it seems to be much less of a problem (if not non-existent) with the high torque servo. (The other two servos I used to check it were just a couple I had lying around)
Maybe it's just something about the race servo then? I'm running this in a Tamiya Mini, so I don't really think torque is much of an issue, especially while the car is on the bench with the wheels hanging in the air. I'll install the high torque to see what happens. |
high torque servo with less respond? it may still exist.
