BC112a question

Hi there!!
I live in the Netherlands and i've got a question about the firmware of my BC112a.
I want to charge Ni-Mh batteries with my BC112a (i know it's been asked before but i didn't find the answer).
I searched the RCTech forum and found out that some guys that own a BC112a talk about firmware e27 or h27, some guys even say that's it x27 and that you just need a 27 or higher firmware(the x stands for all the letters in the alphabet).
I've got a C27??!! Is that okay for charging Ni-Mh batteries??
I can choose the following power-flex settings : PF, PF1, PF2 and PF3.
When i press start i can chosse the following charge options : P, P2, CS and Time charge.

Thanks for your help!!

regards Nils

Q4: Is it beneficial to send in a B112C with the H28 software to upgrade to the newest level? At what cost?

A4: The H31 software includes a better way of detecting the peak charge of NiMH batteries to prevent overcharging and damage to the cells. It also makes some changes to the display. The cost to update the software on the BC112 is $50.00 excluding shipping and handling. The turn around time is quick.

That being said, I think yours should work ok. Mine has h27 firmware, & it seems to work on any of the 4200mah packs I have. Only thing that might be an issue, is if you have to do alot of repeaks, I've noticed if you repeak a pack too soon after it originally peaked, then the charger might not stop, & end up overcharging the pack(had it happen once to a pack of GP3300's, thought I should repeak it but it was too soon & I pretty much cooked the pack as a result). And while yours may say c27, it sounds like your charge modes are the same as mine, so I'd think its peak detection should be the same too(the newer versions add a P0 charge mode, but the regular P mode ours have seems to work just fine....
