I'm attempting to replace the lithium battery in my original (1990's) 3PS Caliber transmitter. I purchased the lithium battery. It is essentially a 2032 disc battery with solder tabs on it for PCB mounting/assembly. Just curious if anyone here has had any experience replacing the lithium battery in their 3PS transmitter?

What I'm looking for is specific directions/instructions in regards to which section of the transmitter the battery is contained. Location of battery. I did'nt necessarily want to disassemble the whole transmitter.

I'm surprised this info is not provided in the user manual- it just says after 5 years the transmitter would need to be serviced at a certified Airtronics repair station. I sent an inquiry to Airtronics technical support, I get no reponse?

I posted a few images of a disassembled transmitter rear cover (from another poster) as a guide.

I'm an experienced solderer.
