MX3 FHSS help

i just got this radio, its a great radio but i have a few problems right now.

1) when i turn the radio on first, then the receiver, the receiver makes the car go full throttle from the get go, and i have to brake super fast to stop it. ive tried binding it but it keeps doing the same thing over.

2) i have no idea how to turn the brake on, im running a LRP sphere (and novak lipo cutoff) and i have the profile on forward/brake. but theres barely any brake on the car.

any ideas?

when binding, shouldn't you be turning on the receiver first, press/hold the bind button then turn on the transmitter? do you have any receiver pack around? if so disconnect the esc and run just the servo using the receiver pack and then bind it. once you know the servo is working, everything is good. take out the receiver pack and plug the esc back in and see if everything works. if not i would look at the esc settings.

Hi Drift,

I own a FHSS, and I am facing this problem as well. I have asked another user, and he face the same problem. The reason is that the receiver take a longer while to bind with the transmitter compared to other brands.

The only way I can solve this problem, is to turn on your transmitter and the next few seconds turn on the receiver immediately, and the binding will work faster. This will help most of the time but not all the time, once in a while it will take a longer while to bind as well.

Hope this work for your case. Thats why I use the fail safe to prevent it from running off.
