Servos affected by temperature

I was out driving today, it was -5C/23F.
My throttle servo ceased functioning after a fuel stop.

My steering was fine. But, the throttle was stuck on Full Brake.

I thought it could have been batteries or the Rx. (Snow/Water).
Couldn't have been the Rx. since steering was fine and thus battery was also fine. So, it was just that servo.

When I got home and it warmed up, It worked fine.

So, was that it? Was it frozen or something?

Thanks

What servo brand was it ? Wouldn't be the steering servo also affected by the cold weather ?

It's an HPI SF-1. Yea, I'm not sure there could be something more to it.

Maybe something in the brakes seized because of the cold temperatures.:D
