Alex Lap Timing system

Hi!

I saw at the RC-Mushroom this timing system.

http://rc-mushroom.com/index.php?manufacturers_id=175

Does anybody have any experience with it?
A few question:
- What type of power supply needs for using?
- How many racers can the timing the system?
(So If we would like to measure two racers, we must buy 2 separeted
complete systems, or one system is enough with two transponders?)
- Is this enough reliable for hobby using?

Thanks!

Aron

I think not very much people know this Alex/Hakarunjer system. The timing system sold by Team Orion is more common even when itīs just an Alex OEM system.
The system for one driver consists of the receiver (with display) and the transmitter what looks similar in size to the AMB handout transponder. This means each driver needs a separate transmitter and receiver unit.
Power supply for the receiver is by a small 9V battery, same type as common with digital volt meters. Power supply for the transmitter is via BEC what means you just plug in into your RC receiver.
