What is the 30A pulse like does it take longer than a 30A linear? if so what is it equvilent to?

Yes it takes longer then a 30 amp linear. In perspective, it discharges for 2 seconds and rests for 1 second. This way, it does not build up that much heat during the discharge, because todays high end packs need the least amount of heat.

So it is like a 20A but with rest time

Yes.. Much More's website and NexusRacing's website describes how it works i believe. But the maint thing is to keep teh heat down in the pack other then charging.
