Default Charging LiPo with an old Turbo Thirty

Is there a way to make this work? I know that the new CE chargers will do it with just an upgrade. I was really thinking about using the Losi lipo adapter with the old thirty and was wondering if anyone knew of a reason that this could or couldnt be done.

DON'T DO IT!!!

LiPo chargers will charge a pack to a specific voltage and turn off. Nicad and NiMh chargers charge a pack until a peak voltage is reached and then drops off. In other words, it over charges the pack. Nickel batteries like this, but a LiPo pack will be destroyed by overcharging, and possibly ignite (read all the LiPo fire warnings).

Either get a Lipo specific charger, or get your Turbo 30 upgraded.

I wasnt sure if you could get the thirty upgraded. I thought you had to have a thirty five. Right now Im leaning toward just waiting until I can afford the charger and the Battery. Thanks though I just wanted to hear someone sound off on this, since the losi adapter was pretty new to the market.
