Default Checkpoint Charger Questions

Is the motor run in feature powerful enough to run a lathe off of? (My ICE never could but my GFX never had a problem)

Can this charger handle it's 30 pulse discharge? I have heard grumblings of it going up in smoke if discharged at 30amps?

Thanks for the HONEST feedback.

What motor are you using on your lathe? I have no problem powering my Cobra lathe using an Integy 55T lathe motor on my ICE. I never go above 3-4 volts, and it has never given me any issues?

I've gone through my third charger repair the latest incident was tonight. I simply put a half charged pack into the charger and at the end of it's discharge cycle it went poof!! For the third time. Hobbico has repaired the last two. This time it's a new charger or my cash back. I'm sick of waiting for the mail. Sorry had to vent.

You should have much better luck running your lathe off of the Team Checkpoint charger as they doubled the amperage. The motor break-in feature on the ICE would quit if the motor/lathe pulled over 10 amps. The Checkpoint charger supplies up to 20 amps to your motor/lathe.
