Default Spektrum/JR servo gears

Ive got a Z270 & one of the plastic gears has a few teeth missing, oops. Now i was looking at the Z590 servo & it has metal gears. So what i would like to know is, will the Z590 metal gears fit the Z270 servo?

Im currently using the Z270 for my drifter, & the Z590 is fitted to my comp drifter, & i dont want to swap over the Z590 all the time between the 2!

I checked into this and yes, the 270 will accept the 590's metal gears if you want to upgrade to metal gears. All this will do is upgrade the durability, it will not increase the speed or torque. If anything because of their increased weight the metal gears might slow the reaction just a tad. Hope this helps.
