iCharger 456 Duo DC input cable

I picked up a 456 Duo and it came with a EC8 DC input connection, The included breakout cable has an EC5 connector on it. What do I need to connect this to my power supply?

4mm bullets of some sort. What power supply is it?

I spoke with the vendor, they said it should have shipped with an EC8. The EC5 is for the previous model.

I have 4mm bullets, its just the connector that is wrong.

Do you need a cable?

I appreciate it but I'm gonna pick one up from the Progressive RC warehouse in Sodo.

BPEC8 if anyone needs to know the part number for future reference.

Mine is like that. An EC5 for the 456duo. I have extra EC8 connectors, so I'll probably change them out and have extra. Not good QC if seems.

The Progressive RC rep I spoke with told me he's heard from a few others that also received the older EC5 cable with their 456 Duos. He checked his local supply of 456 Duos and said they all have the proper BPEC8 cables in the box. Seems to be isolated to the distributor I ordered from.

If you decide to get the RC Discharger, you won't need that breakout cable. It has the EC8 Connector built into it to plug the 456/458 DUO into. The RC Discharger had been by far one of the biggest improvements I've made in performance.

I did pick up the RC Discharger 4s. Nice unit. Have my 458DUO hooked up to it.

I also have the 458DUO.... Had a 406DUO and bought the 458DUO since it was blue...LOL  I since sold my 406DUO, extra power supply and DRC Discharge Resistor Bank. Kept the other DRC Resistor Bank as a backup and I use the other power supply for tire warmers, pit light, etc.

My new 456 I just got in also had the ec5 lead. I found an ec5 to ec8 adapter for now.
