Fix Muchmore Charger
Anyone know how to fix a Muchmore Cell Master Specter charger? Suddenly died while charging. Now it’s not turning on.
|
Hey, sorry to hear your Specter charger just died out of nowhere. That’s super frustrating, especially mid-charge. I’ve had something similar happen before, and in my case, it turned out to be a blown fuse.

I’d recommend checking the fuse first,it’s usually an easy fix and can blow if there’s a sudden power spike. Also, try plugging it in with a different power cable or outlet just to rule out a basic power issue. Sometimes it’s something simple like that.

If those don’t work, it might be something internal like a fault on the board or power supply. At that point, it’s probably best to reach out to Muchmore support, especially if it’s still under warranty. Hopefully, it’s a quick fix!

same with me, I didn't find anyone that can repair mine

Thanks. I will check. It was working fine, but just suddenly dead after a power outages, and the charger now gives me a buzzing noise.

Sometimes it's a simple loose connection and sometimes she's just had enough. I've been able to repair a few but it's generally 50/50 and I consider myself "decent" at electronics repair. I can do a good bit on game systems, PC's, stereo's etc. My advice is give it a go, it's already broken.....you have zero to lose and a working charger to gain.👍

How can you fix yours by replacing a blown fuse if there is no fuse? |
The issue with mine (2 of them) is the calibration, if it reads 7.4V it is really 7.3V if you read it with a multimeter. |
