Hobbywing esc.

Hi all.

I have a b7 which has a Justock g3s esc, and a Justock 13.5 motor.

class:
Esc blinky/0 timing
motor. Justock 13.5
gearing. 7.16 or higher.
very locked class.

My question is. will I get more power/punch in the car by switching to a hobbywing g3x 160a, which will also be in blinky mode/ 0 timing?

Yep. Which is why I detest the Justok classes. Fake fairness.

They should have just included the xr10 in the justok kits. But I guess cheater firmware kinda ruined that.....

Its a pita swapping the esc everyweekend. But it's only a hair slower. If you can drive it to decent lap times, run with it.

You might get a slight speed increase, but if you're a novice like me, it's not going to make that big of a difference. You'd be better off spending that money elsewhere

+1

Best thing to do is eliminate as much rotating mass as you can... you WILL notice a drastic improvement in performance if you run lighter 2WD front wheels on a 4WD wheeler, more info here:

Next fastest thing you can do is run AVID ceramic revolution bearings with Trinity Perpetual Motion lubricant.

Many will claim that LCG shorties are faster by having less weight, but I always found standard shorties with the highest capacity I could find offering more punch and faster performance for me. Static weight doesn't hurt nearly as rotating mass does.

Also set your charger to cutoff at 4.22V/cell which will yield a true 8.4V at rest, this will squeeze a pinch more capacity/punch which makes a difference if you're running longer 8 min mains.
