Sanwa MT-5 issue

Hi, just got this and ploughed through the settings but am only getting 75% throttle. TH-EPA set to 100%. Could it be the ESC. I got full throttle with my previous Dumborc X6 radio gear. Hobbywing ESC. - Can someone assist please?

Did you calibrate the ESC to the new radio?

No I haven't. However the graphic on the TX Display is only going to 75% - is this normal?

Doesn't sound normal if the EPA is 100%. Check the system calibration menu on the radio.

75% of the graph bar or 75% as numbered on the scale?

Because you can set the EPA up to 150% that will take the full range on the graph bar you should imagine with 100% it will not come to the end of it.

Again, you need to re-calibrate your ESC so it will learn to adapt the range of your transmitter.

Not sure what EPA-H & EPA- B are but both on 100%
Graphic bar graph shows 75%.
I would like to get the TX set before I calibrate the ESC unless this is incorrect?

EPA-H is throttle and EPA-B is brake. Can you upload a picture of the screen where it's showing 75%? Is that an estimate? 100% is 2/3 of 150%, the maximum EPA value.

You've already set the EPA to 100%, there's nothing else to "set" on the throttle other than making sure the trim is at 0.

I have this transmitter and this is correct. When the EPA is set at 100%, the bar graph will actually show 2/3 (66.6%) at full throttle or steering. If you set the EPA to 150%, the bar graph will be at 100%.

Team Steve is correct the graph bar is not ok to validate 100% value of steering or throttle input , you need to be in Telemetry or other page of the display panel to see the % of your input correctly , we have the same issue on the graph bar on the M17 only showing 75% of the graph bar when I'm 100% steering left or right and full Throttle or full brake if my EPA is at 100. Play with wheel and other menus will display and will be able to see that you are at 100% by default. Good Luck , I will try to post an image of my m17 menu that will show the same bug that you are mentioning but it's not a bug.

66%, not 75%.

Roelof 10-10-2024 01:05 AM

So yes, there is no 75% mark on the scale and is this all logical as I did explain before.

Each of those increments is 50%. That is showing 100% input. if you set to 150% it goes to the third increment. If you set to 50% it will only go to the first increment.
