Batteries

Just an open discussion on what's the current hotness in the LiPo game for on road touring cars.
- GensAce, appears to use raw new lithium, unverified
- Fyyrework/Fido, started seeing this pop up the local
- Reedy Zappers SG5, appear to be very good.
- Sunpadow
- EzPower
- Nosram

Just wanted to see what people have been experiencing before i go and replace all my packs

They all come from the same factory. They just get split off five ways to become whoever buys them.

hey, i guess this is probably the wrong thread to ask a question, but i have some.
I'm a beginner attempting to make an rc car from scratch, i have a 3S Lipo battery, which uses an IC3 connector, however, my ESC power supple cable has JST RCY pins, how do i use them together?

Also, i'm pretty sure my ESC's are rated at 8v, though im not sure, my second question is, how do i make sure that actually is my esc's rating/ how do i use the battery without burning the ESC (Using a resistor or something?)
