I'd generally say yes, but depends on if it's connected to an ESC via a sensor cable, and if ESC can be programmed into different sensored/hybrid modes. I've ran plenty of sensored 2-pole/4-pole motors with ESCs that are sensorless only... no sensor cable... motor acts as a sensorless motor. Some ESCs will state in the manual if a matching brand of motor is needed for full sensored mode/use. Just read the manual!

I plan to use a Hobbywing Justock Handout Spec 13.5 turn sensored brushless 4 pole motor on a 1/10th scale 2wd buggy.

I am assuming most ESC able to support the motor

What about a ESC which doesn't state whether support 4 pole motor or not ?

Can I assume the ESC no issue with 4 pole motor ?

I wasn't even aware the Justock motors are 4-pole. Last time I worried about 4-pole motors and ESCs for them was when I ran 4WD SCT. Not sure what ESC I used back then... Hobbywing?
Justock motors should work with normal ESCs, but if you want to be 100% sure, buy a HW Justock combo.

We run a crap ton of these at Hobby Action in our Spec Classes. I have yet to see an ESC they wont work with. Maclan, R1, Muchmore, Reedy, Tekin, and of course, HobbyWing.

The handout one is 4 pole but the others in the size class are 2 pole.

I see no reason why it wouldnt.

Only piece of advice i can give with that motor, is watch the temps, and gear down accordingly. They dont last long when overgeared.

You are right, my Sanwa Super Vortex Stock ESC is able to run the 4-pole sensored motor.

The motor gets warm (not hot) after buggy run, no issue right ? It doesn't gets hot
