The one shown in that picture has a clip, are you sure you used that one?

I heard back from Absolute " great service by the way " and Performa does not sell the cable separately. They are going to look for one though.

So the ACE and the performa connectors are different. I assume it only has to do with the flat corners of each pin. No way you can cut some corners so the connector will fit?

Just by accident I saw a project at my work uses a same kind (but 4 pole) connector

Searching for it I saw Ace uses molex 43645 series
43645-0500 Molex | Mouser Nederland
