Replace servo motor
Hello all,
I did something silly last night and burned out the motor in a protek 155T. I called AMain and they don't repair them. Does anyone know if there is a company that does or if it is something I can do myself? |
Is it the motor or the electronics? Finding the right motor will be more difficult than repairing the electronics.
Maybe contact protek ? |

Maybe contact protek ? I also searched for Protek RC Service Center and other similar searches and found nothing. |
I don't think anyone repairs servos anymore other than replacing stripped gear sets.
Not uncommon to see folks buy a new servo to get current warranty protection and then send in the damaged servo for warranty claim and then keep the replacement as a spare. |

To my knowledge ProtekRC and AMain are one and the same. This facebook page lists all AMain contact info.

Boards blow out faster then motors. Time to upgrade if you're messing with RTR. Its the hobby of upgrading!
