First Car Help

I'm building my first car (TT02) and just want to check the compatibility of all my parts.

I was planning to get a Savox 1251+ servo to go with my HW1060 ESC 6V/3A (Deans), 2S LiPo and Torque Tuned 540 motor. I'm looking at a Sanwa MT-R radio. I've ordered a servo saver already.

Would this combo be OK? I got confused about voltages and whether I'd need a HV servo with my LiPo. I looked at Glitch Busters but it's all a bit confusing 😕

Thanks in advance!

You'll be fine without an HV Servo as the servo is powered by the BEC, not by the LiPo directly. Given that this BEC with 6V/3A isn't very strong and Savox servos are notoriously power-hungry, a glitch buster may be a good idea though as you might encounter brownouts otherwise,

3A will be fine for a Savox 1251. 2A or lower might be a concern. That servo does have a reputation for being power hungry from a long time ago when BECs were weaker, but modern high end servos tend to use a lot more these days.
