Difference between hpi transmitters and receivers

I have got a hpi firestorm 10t 3.0 with a bad aftermarket receiver paired with an old hpi remote which still uses those crystals. I have found at that the original transmitter/receiver is the tf/rf41. I have looked at buying used, but the only one I can find in my area (the Netherlands) is a tf/rf40. I would like to now the difference or if you guys would recommend another aftermarket transmitter/receiver below 50$.

Look at the Conrad, you can have a 2.4ghz GT2 transmitter for just 30 euro and I thing a more advanced GT3 for 50~60 euro.

Read the manuals which you can download when viewing the product.
The cheap 28 euro thing has and is clearly written how to program it.
