hobbywing xr8 pro g3 programming issue. Any thoughts?
 

I can't get my multifunction box (w/ latest software) or the wifi express module to load up parameters on this new xr8 pro g3 esc. I can connect to the wifi module it works with all the other recent esc's but it just won't see this new ESC. Says it's up to date and nothing on the web site. Everything is as updated as it can be. Thanks

Just tried out my multifunction box on a friends xr8 pro g3. Worked fine. Make sure that when you update the software, also update the esc database. Once that's done you should be able to see and update the esc.

I am also having issues with the wifi express module. Anybody have a fix? Or just go out and buy the newest ota?

I had a similar problem, but I got help from guys who know a lot about programming. They spent an hour tinkering and everything is working fine.

My Son called HW and was told he needed the new program. It works great.

Hi can you share which one programmer is needed(link if possible)? i got v2 and cant get it connected . is new PRO model needed?
