Hobbywing 1060 Problem
My Hobbywing 1060 ESC suddenly no longer works and the red LED blinks continuously. The steering servo works, just no throttle. I'm using a well-charged 2S LIPO battery in LIPO mode. I've tried NIMH mode too with the same result. If anyone knows a solution to this problem please advise and thanks.

This problem can be fixed by adjusting throttle rate on the radio. If it's too far off the ESC gives up and blinks.

Yeah it's very important not to adjust the trim after you've calibrated the ESC because it needs to be a zero to protect the ESC from accidental run away when turning on the ESC.

Set D/R, EPA to 100%. Set Trim to 0 or 120'clock. Then recalibrate the ESC. What your manufacture of your radio system( RX & TX).

Funny, I am dealt with the same thing a couple weeks ago. I was adjusting my throttle expo and the speed control didn't seem to like it. I am not sure what else I may have messed up in the process but I returned my radio to center and deleted the expo and it works like a champ now.

Manuals are so informative... IB_Quicrun_1625-1060-860
It is auto sensing. Just be sure the trim is set in the middle and it should detect neutral. Check the jumpers if it is set to NiMh, be sure the battery is charged and you can disconnect the motor from the ESC and connect it directly to a battery (with the wheels from the ground) to see if the motor spins. Also check if you by accident did not plug the ESC into the battery poort. |
