icharger DX6 or DX8
 

For 1/10 racing, charging 2s batteries. DX6 can do 32amp per channel x2. DX8 can do 30amp per channel x 2. DX6 is cheaper too. Is DX6 the right one to get? What other choice with similar spec? Thanks!

Unless you want to be able to charge 8S instead of 6S batteries per channel, the DX6 is more than enough. Or you could go with the older, larger 406 Duo (or its slightly revamped newest cousin, the 456 Duo - the latter apparently coming at a much higher price than the DX6, though... the 456 currently offered for 400€ here while a DX6 is only 280€... question is, do you plan on charging beyond 30A often enough to make it worth the difference? Around here most tracks / race series set charging limits much lower that that)

Dx6 is really good pricepoint if it meets your needs. I love my 406 and will likely get a 456 when I need a new charger. But, that's me. I'd tell my kiddo to get a DX6 instead of a 406 as it would meet his needs in 98% of those out there.

Yes, very fine scratches. Hmm... I wonder if there is a protective film to remove. I didn't even check.
