M12s value and longevity

So have an option to get a M12s, battery, and 1 receiver for $225. Think it is still a good deal? What is the current availability of any parts or switches that may wear out?

I still use the M11x. I bought it used from here. still works fine. sanwa/airtronics are top notch stuff.

Looks like a good deal to me! The M12s is still a great radio and unless there are some features in the newer radios you absolutely need, then it will most probably serve you well for a few years. It also depends from what radio you are upgrading...

i picked up a used m12s a few years ago for about the same price. Haven't had any issues.

I hope you bought it: you'll probably still be using it 5 years from now. You may be using it 10 years from now :)
