Futaba Reciever Question

Hi,

Just to verify before I pick up a Futaba 4PM radio with R334SBS Receiver. If I turn the SR protocol off, will the receiver work with non Futaba servos like Savox and other brands? Maybe I should just get it with the R304SB instead.

Thanks

Yes, as the manual says in non SR mode will work with digital servo's (like Savox etc) but you can better bind it in the normal T-FHSS mode, then the protocol is slightly faster and you have telemetry.

Ok cool. One other question, does the 4PM Plus version have any other advantages other than the Mini-Z module port? Thanks.

Only that it supports SR mode for faster servo's. In non SR mode it is just like any other T-FHSS transmitter like the 4PV/3PV, higher end transmitters like the 7PX(R) have a better menu and touchscreen.

Huh?
