Hobbywing 4268 sensor issue.
My motor now goes forward when I go in reverse :-)
The car goes forward fine and smooth, but when I go in reverse, it splutters and goes forward. Unplugged the sensor cable and all is good. Also tested ESC with another motor, with sensor. All is good. Suspect the hall sensor is knackered. Any ideas on how to fix or replace the hall sensor board. |
The 4268 motor is a 4 pole? The ESC can handle a 4 pole motor?

Setup not the issue. I just want advice on replacing hall sensor or if there is something else that can be done. |
there is no hall sensor modules 42size
only 540 size Hobbywing hall sensors are awaible have you another sensor cable to try ? you need new motor , you can sell this unsensored cheap like 40-50$ , or keep it unsensored to something fun what KV is it ? |
If the motor can be opened then you can always check the sensor PCB is some soldering has become lose or the PCB has a damaged trace.
But yes, I also would try another sensor cable first, they are most of the time the cause of issues. |

I've soldered it back up on to my spare ESC and will just keep it as is. I guess I could have just swopped the end covers around in the end lol. It's a 1900kv motor. |
